Pete Foley

President & CEO

Pete brings more than 15 years of technology management and entrepreneurial experience to his role as president and CEO of RingCube Technologies.  Most recently, Pete served as President and CEO of Port Authority Technologies, an information leak prevention software company which was acquired by WebSense in early 2007. Pete also served as Chairman and founding CEO of InfoBlox, a successful infrastructure and security company.

Prior to Infoblox, Pete co-founded two companies: Sysix Technologies, a Chicago-based systems integrator and Faber Consulting, a business intelligence consulting firm.

Pete earned his BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.

Mike Larkin

CTO & Co-founder 

Mike has over 13 years of experience in embedded systems, OS development and grid computing areas. Prior to co-founding RingCube, Mike worked in various management and engineering roles at IBM storage systems division. In addition to holding an MS degree from SJSU, Mike holds a Computer Science degree from Cal Poly Pomona. Mike also works an adjunct faculty at the Computer Engineering department at San Jose State University.

Panos Kougiouris

VP of Engineering

Panos brings twenty years of experience with R&D organizations developing advanced software systems. Prior to RingCube Panos was a Senior Director  at Juniper Networks responsible for their Network Access Control product line and the SSL-VPN software platform. He joined Juniper through the Neoteris acquisition where he was responsible for the company's system software.

Prior to Neoteris Panos was a Fellow and Chief Engineer at WebMD Corp., responsible for the architecture of WebMD's consumer portal. Panos joined Healtheon---which later merged with WebMD---at its inception and developed major pieces of the scalable application server infrastructure that powered the majority of the company's offerings.

In Silicon Valley, Panos started his career at Sun Microsystems Laboratories where he worked with some advanced operating system and object oriented technologies that later became part of the Solaris and Java products.

Panos also held short-term positions at IBM, Oracle and the Computer Technology Institute of Greece. Panos has authored several patents and publications and holds an MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras, Greece.

Dr. Tom Speeter

Chief Architect

From 2002 through 2006 Tom was director, founder and CTO of Cendura Corporation, a leading provider of configuration and policy compliance software. He led the application architecture team and spearheaded the definition and development of Cendura's patented application blueprinting technology. Cendura was acquired by CA in September of 2006

Prior to Cendura, Dr. Speeter was a Fellow and Chief Engineer at Healtheon Corporation (now WebMD). At Healtheon he oversaw the engineering of foundation technologies for the company. This included the development of Healtheon's distributed, highly secure, application server for web applications. This platform, developed prior to the commercial availability of such products, provided the scalable infrastructure for Healtheon's online services.

Prior to Healtheon, Dr. Speeter worked at Silicon Graphics as chief network architect in the Interactive Media Group. He was responsible for the network design of Time Warner, Inc.'s Interactive TV project in Orlando Florida. This network was among the first to support streaming video over a wide area network, layering IP and MPEG protocols over ATM and hybrid fiber-coaxial distribution networks. From 1986 to 1993, Dr. Speeter was a Principal Investigator in the research division at AT&T Bell Laboratories. There, his research focuses on distributed systems, control theory and teleoperation of robotic hands. He published widely in this area and was a seminal contributor in the areas of teleoperation and sensor based robotic control.

Dr. Speeter holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, a M.S.C.E from the University of Southern California, and a B.S.C.E from Michigan State University.

Doug Dooley

VP of Marketing and Product Management

Doug brings more than 13 years of experience in networking, security, and software systems where he has held various positions in marketing, sales, engineering, and development.  Prior to joining RingCube, Doug was responsible for Juniper Networks High-end Security Systems marketing group and also reported to the General Manager of the Service Layer Technology (SLT) business group where he helped to drive P&L across 9 product lines in security, networking, and application acceleration that contributed over $500M USD in annual product revenue. Doug joined Juniper through two acquisitions of Neoteris then NetScreen.

Prior to Juniper, Doug worked in marketing and sales management at Inktomi Corporation developing their OEM relationships with HP, Compaq, Dell, F5 Networks, 3Com, and IBM. Prior to Inktomi, Doug served in various sales and engineering roles at Cisco Systems, Intel Corporation and Nortel Networks.

Doug holds a BS (Cum Laude) in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech University.

Brian Fay

Director of Sales

Brian brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, sales management, capability development and marketing for companies like Symantec, Altiris and Kimberly-Clark, as well as several other technology startup organizations. Brian has consistently earned top ranks in sales performance in every position by exceeding revenue, profit and market share objectives.  He recently worked at Altiris, now part of Symantec, where he built the highest revenue producing territory and consistently exceeded revenue targets for 16 straight quarters before moving into an executive management role.  Once in that role he proved the power of his expertise through ongoing capability development and mentorship of his sales organization.  Brian has implemented effective strategies for upgrading sales organizations’ personnel and developing team members to achieve long-term sustainable revenue growth.

Brian earned his BS in Marketing from Illinois State University and certification on eBusiness Strategy from the University of Chicago.

Kiran Kamity

Co-founder

Kiran brings in expertise in Operating Systems, embedded systems and computer networking. Prior to co-founding RingCube, Kiran was a software systems architect at Network Appliance working in the core platform group. In addition to holding an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, Kiran holds a BS in Material Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where he was awarded with a President’s ( of India) Silver medal for outstanding academic performance. He also won several awards in Indian national science competitions and a gold medal in the Math-Olympiad in 1995.
